Those were the words of US TV presenter Walter Cronkite as he described the aftermath of the first Earth Day back in 1970.

Why is Earth Day important today?

As the millennium loomed, Denis Hayes and the Earth Day movement turned their attention to the growing reality of the impending climate crisis with a clear message for world leaders: urgent action is needed to address global warming.

It’s a message that is just as relevant today. The latest report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change states that without further immediate action to curb greenhouse gas emissions, the world is on course for temperatures 3.2°C above pre-industrial levels. This level of warming would be catastrophic for the planet and all life on it, including humans.

Now a truly global movement, Earth Day has become a leading light in the fight to combat climate change, raising awareness of environmental issues and providing a forum for people to get involved. Our survival could depend on it.

If you thought this was a skit well think again.  As you know from other videos at angles Jada Smith Will's Wife was the one who instigated him going up on stage.  As if " You had better fight for your woman" " If not you know why I cheated on you"  Girlie Girl Love WOW.

She mentioned on her talk about the affair she had reason why and this was a clear sign of how she has broken him down.  Now not sure "what voodoo the he doo made him act in this matter" but its done and the Academy is definitely going to investigate on violations.  The word is he was even asked to leave and he wouldn't.

Now it would seem it might of been a skit at first cause even Will was laughing at his joke.  I mean Chris and many of his comedy pals are known for cutting it up in comedy that way.  Many are.  I mean on the "Bernie Mac" Show on ION.  Chris was a guest and Bernie got all pissed off at him for stealing jokes but they were hazing eachother to include Bernie mentioned he wanted to Beat him or smack him"  Now not sure if that was an older episode but it was funny how it was on after this incident. LOL.   Then the thing I don't get is why Denzel Washington and Bradley Cooper were coming to his rescue. When they should of been saying Hey Not Kewl Man.  but hey lets look at these guys

Bradley Cooper is also known for smacking another comedian real hard.  Lets look at some smack downs with some of these Comedians.  Now granted these are setup but you can see that it might be different and easy to push someone to want to.  But these are clearly over the top.  While Chris's was not all that bad and he used movies as part of it.  Not really that hard I mean he didn't know.  I mean Ellen Degeneres did the same thing when she hosted.  But it is in good humor and faith knowing that nominees are expecting some of it.  IT is a tradition at  a bit of roasting during the award shows.

In this episode Gordon pushes too much with a tired female chef and she lets him have it.

And most recently another German Comedian got it from a Rapper.   So in part we all are wandering what is to come of this.    While maybe Chris was a real trooper on this others didn't put up with it.  And others did.  Like Gordon did in this video.  SO the question is if Amy SHUMER was the one to crack the joke instead of Chris Rock I am sure Will and Jada wouldn't of done the Slap right?  No one should assault anyone and while women tend to be a bit more lead way a man isn't.   But depends on how hard the SLAP IS I guess.   Chris was hit pretty hard and hope it didn't do anything medically to him.
